Q: How long until I get my parts?

Typical “Free Shipping” delivery times vary based on location. We typically process and ship all ordered within 24 hours. Orders placed over the weekend will get processed Monday. In stock items will usually be received within 1-7 business days. Out of stock or special order parts may take 1-2 weeks depending on availability. Contact us to see availability prior to purchase to ensure prompt delivery. Free shipping is economy ground at the discretion of Norcal Diesel Performance and is subject to change without notice. Free shipping not available for truck freight items or from select manufacturers that drop ship from their warehouses. I.e. bulky items such as engines, transmissions and fuel tanks.

Q: What if my package shows up damaged or missing parts?

Contact us immediately. It is the shippers responsibility to ensure your package gets to you undamaged and on time. If a package is lost or damaged we must file a claim with the shipper. Often the shipper attempts to locate a lost package and launches an investigation which could take several business days. If the part is found it will be redirected and delivered. If the part is lost or deemed damaged, the shipper will issue a credit and we will send out another part. 

Q: What if I get the wrong parts?

We strive to do our very best to get things right every time however if you receive parts that are incorrect or not what you ordered give us a call or e-mail us as soon as possible.

We recommend you inspect your parts upon arrival for shipping damage, missing parts or incorrect parts in order to prevent delays during installation.

If you have a concern, we'll look into it and see what happened and get the right parts coming as soon as possible.

You may be required to send back the incorrect parts prior to shipment of the new parts subject to management discretion. This is usually required if products are a high cost part, just to keep the honest people honest.

Please note we do not cover any labor cost associated with incorrect, damaged or missing parts. 

 

Q: New part returns and core returns

New Part Returns

New part returns accepted within 30 days of purchase. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required prior return of package will not be accepted. If you do not have an RMA the product may be returned to sender. The customer is responsible for return shipping. Open box, attempted install or damage to products that make them unsellable will effect refund if any. Minimum restocking fee of 15% applies. Orders placed with Affirm Financing will incur an additional 5% restocking fee to recover the 6% Affirm charges us per transaction. Contact us for an RMA and we’ll get your return processed or fill out the RMA form here

Core Returns

Core returns must be received within 90 days of purchase, after which, core return availability will be at the discretion of Norcal Diesel Performance and is not guaranteed.

Core returns must be returned in the original packaging with the part number / label undamaged. Carefully fill out an RMA form with the link above. Instructions will be sent to you via email. Many times there is a reference number or a special form needed as most cores are sent directly to the manufacturer.

We recommend shipping with a carrier that provides insurance and a tracking number. Norcal Diesel Performance is not responsible for lost cores or shipping damages on core returns.

Core return credit is subject to inspection and verification and is at the full discretion of the manufacturer. A like product must be returned as a core and partially disassembled or missing parts may affect full core credit.

Make sure to DRAIN ALL FLUIDS from any cores. Shipping carrier will not deliver a package leaking fluids and many manufacturers will charge a fee for cores returned full of fluids or not fully drained.

Q: Kryptonite Cancellation Policy

All orders placed for Kryptonite products not reflected as available in our inventory are deemed final and irrevocable during the lead times specified by the seller. Any attempt to cancel such orders within the stipulated period shall attract a cancellation fee as follows: $25.00 for orders costing $500 or less, $50.00 for orders ranging from $500 to $1000, and $100.00 for orders exceeding $1000. The buyer agrees to these terms and conditions by placing an order for Kryptonite products.

Q: Do you ship truck freight?

Yes, truck Freight charges will be charged on a case by case basis. It’s recommended if you have a bulky item to contact us for a quote. It may cost extra for a liftgate truck or delivery to a residential address.

Q: Do you ship to APO/FPO?

No. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses. It’s recommended to ship stateside and forward via USPS.

Q: Do you ship Internationally?

No. We do not ship internationally. We ship to the US only. Alaska, Hawaii and other U.S. territories not in the contiguous United States may see inflated shipping costs. If you place an order with an international address, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a refund. You will be contacted if this occurs.

Q: Do you charge tax?

Yes. California addresses will be subject to sales tax. Also depending on your state an internet sales tax may apply.

Q: Do you charge for shipping?

We charge actual shipping charges. To see shipping costs, add products to the cart and calculate shipping by preferred method. Free ground shipping for orders over $99 applies to US residents in contiguous 48 states excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. Some restrictions apply. Engines, transmissions, fuel tanks and other overweight or bulky items must be shipped truck freight, the customer is responsible for actual shipping charges. We may also change the shipping method or carrier to improve ship time or cost.

Q: Can I return Special Order Parts?

No. Special order parts are not returnable and non-transferable.

Q: What if I have a Special Request or Odd Situation?

Contact us. We’re regular people and know that stuff happens. If you have a strange situation or something a little different we may have a solution for you. Write us an email or give us a call. Just be patient, we help a lot of people.
