Q: What if my package is shows up damaged or missing parts?

Contact us immediately. It is the shipper responsibility to ensure your package gets to you undamaged and on time.

Q: What if I have a Special Request or Odd Situation?

Contact us. We’re regular people and know that stuff happens. If you have a strange situation or something a little different we may have a solution for you. Write us an email or give us a call. Just be patient, we help a lot of people.

Q: How long until I get my parts?

Typical “Free Shipping” delivery times vary based on location. In stock items will usually be received within 3-7 business days. Out of stock or special order parts may take 1-2 weeks depending on availability. Contact us to see availability prior to purchase to ensure prompt delivery. Free shipping is economy ground as the discretion of Norcal Diesel Performance and is subject to change without notice. Free shipping not available for Truck freight items or from select manufacturers that drop ship from their warehouses. I.e. bulky items such as transmissions and fuel tanks.

Q: How long do you accept returns?

Returns accepted within 30 days of purchase. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required prior return of package will not be accepted. Fill out the RMA form here

Q: How do I send back returns or cores?

Buyer is responsible for return and core return shipping charges. An RMA Return Merchandise Authorization is required prior to any returns sent in. If you do not have an RMA the product may be returned to sender. For returns warranties and core returns see next section.

Q: Do you ship truck freight?

Yes, truck Freight charges will be charged on a case by case basis. It’s recommended if you have a bulky item to contact us for a quote. It may cost extra for a liftgate truck or delivery to a residential address.

Q: Do you ship to APO/FPO?

No. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses. It’s recommended to ship stateside and forward via USPS.

Q: Do you ship Internationally?

No. We do not ship internationally. We ship to the US only. Alaska, Hawaii and other territories not in the contiguous United States may see inflated shipping costs. If you place an order with an international address, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a refund. You will be contacted if this occurs.

Q: Do you charge tax?

Yes. California shipping address will be subject to sales tax.

Q: Do you charge for shipping?

We charge actual shipping charges. To see shipping costs, add products to the cart and calculate shipping by preferred method. Free ground shipping for orders over $150 applies to US residents in contiguous 48 states excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. Some restrictions apply.

Q: Core Return Instructions

Core returns must be received within 180 days of purchase, after which core credit will be at the discretion of Norcal Diesel Performance and is not guaranteed.

To return a core, use original packaging and carefully fill out an RMA form with the link above. Instructions will be sent to you via email. At times there may be a reference number needed as many cores are sent directly to the manufacturer.

We recommend shipping with a carrier that provides insurance and a tracking number. Norcal Diesel Performance is not responsible for lost cores or shipping damages on core returns.

Core return credit is subject to inspection and verification. A like product must be returned as a core and partially disassembled or missing parts may affect full core credit.

DRAIN ALL FLUIDS from any cores. Many manufacturers will charge a fee for cores returned full of fluids or not fully drained.

Open or damaged packaging may be subject to a restocking fee of 25%.

Q: Can I return Special Order Parts?

No. Special order parts are not returnable and non-transferable.


Q: When will my parts arrive?

We offer a variety of shipping options. “Free Shipping” option is ground delivery usually 3-7 business days. We also offer 2 day and in some cases overnight shipping. See the shipping options in checkout.

Q: What is the warranty on my parts?

Warranties vary by parts but everything has a 30 day money back guarantee. If you have had a part fail, contact the manufacturer about warranty and be sure to have a copy of your receipt for reference. You can always give us a call and we can assist you with this process as well.

Q: What is a core charge?

A core charge is a refundable deposit you pay to ensure we get your old part back. Many manufacturers charge a core to ensure they get parts back to remanufacture and resell.

Q: What if my part is damaged during shipping?

Contact us immediately so we can contact the shipping company. It is their responsibility to ensure our products are delivered on time and undamaged.
