The Garret Powermax turbocharger is a great performance upgrade for mild to moderately modified trucks.
Featuring an 88mm compressor wheel pushing 35% more airflow than stock the Powermax turbocharger can reduce exhaust backpressure and exhaust gas temperatures by up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. With a 1.00 A/R housing this performance turbocharger will be sure to increase power and performance while providing longevity with the GTP38R's ball bearing design and legendary Garret quality.
Max recommended boost pressure for this turbocharger is 40 PSI. We recommend 25 psi on most slightly modified trucks.
We also recommend if you install this drop-in upgraded turbo to have other upgrades installed such as an air intake, exhaust system, fuel upgrades and or performance tuner. This will enhance your overall performance and air flow.

Please Note: Shaft play is normal when installing and after initial statup due to oil draining from turbocharger center housing. As long as the turbocharger spins freely and wheels do not contact any housing it will operate normally.
