51 Gallon, extra heavy-duty cross-linked polyethylene fuel tank. Tank comes complete with powder-coated or plated steel mounting strap set, extruded rubber mounting bushings, vent hoses, rollover safety vent valve, seals, and required clamps. Tank hangs approximately only 1.5" below the bottom of the stock fuel tank shield bracket (on vehicles so equipped). Tank is approximately 2.5” deeper than the stock OEM tank.
Tank features an exclusive low fuel trap design. For Crew Cab-equipped vehicles with 6 ½ ft. Short Bed.
For Ford Powerstroke model years 1999-2007.
For F-250 HD, F-350 HD, and F-450 HD Models with Powerstroke Engines.
TITAN Fuel Tanks Direct Replacement, Mid-Ship Fuel Tanks are manufactured to use the truck's stock/original equipment fuel sending unit. The truck's stock sending unit is removed from the stock tank and mounted in the TITAN tank. They are a direct fit; there are no modifications needed. With the use of the stock sending unit, the truck's analog fuel gauge will read correctly and accurately with the TITAN tank.
The TITAN tank is 21 gallons larger at 51 gallons. The stock tank is only 30 gallons.
