We’re excited to announce a new update for BD's popular Tapshifter products for 2003-2007, 47RE & 48RE transmissions! Our new Tapshifter Enhanced Mode Editor is a FREE downloadable software program that lets you create custom shift maps for your vehicle and load them onto the Tapshifter! This update allows you to unlock new modes in the module where you can easily customize specific shift points and torque converter lock-up points, for a fully customizable driving experience. All original Tapshifter modes and functions will remain with this update.
If you've recently purchased or are planning to purchase a BD Tapshifter or one of our 48RFE transmission and converter packages that includes the Tapshifter, this upgrade is for you! All of these products include the wire pig tail that's required to connect the module to the throttle pedal. The only thing NOT provided is a micro USB cable to connect the module to your computer.
Simply click the "Download Software" button and you will be prompted to download a zip folder containing a PDF instruction manual and an executable file for the module.
