The Max-Flow High Performance Water Pump kit is designed specifically for high RPM and high horsepower applications, but works just as well in stock applications. When the engine is seeing high RPM's, and you suddenly let off the throttle, the pressure in the cooling system can cause the heavy factory cast style impeller to break or spin on the shaft. A common "fix" for this is to weld the cast impeller to the shaft; however, this can still lead to the same result. By using a substantially lighter impeller, made of lightweight resin, this reduces the amount of inertia, making it MUCH less likely to spin on the shaft. Comes with everything you need for installation, and is a direct bolt-on replacement.
