Fuel Pressure Regulator Blue Spring Upgrade Kit 99.5-03 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel
If you own a legendary 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel and want to keep it running smoothly, this fuel regulator kit is for you. This is cheap insurance to prevent low fuel pressure under heavily loaded conditions.
Typically, the stock 7.3L Powerstoke runs somewhere in the mid-40 psi of fuel pressure at the fuel filter housing, and under severe conditions or high load, that pressure can drop down to an unsafe level, causing injector pintle scoring.
Fuel starvation hurts us all!
We know from experience that these 7.3L's like around 70 psi of fuel pressure, that's why we put together this kit with a 70 psi spring and billet aluminum housing. You'll get roughly a 10% increase in fuel pressure on most trucks, if not more.
No more worrying if you're gonna break the threads off the housing when tightening the fuel line!
